ORDERING PRINTS

PRINTS These are giclee (pronounced “g-clay”) prints. This has now become the standard for photographers and artists. The particular combination of the paper and ink I use is estimated to last 70 to 100 years as per testing done by Wihlem Research. Other print sizes are available. MATTING I use white acid-free archival mat boards (Alphamat by Bainbridge) and tapes (Filmoplast from Germany). Each mat is bottom weighted, i.e. the bottom white space is slightly larger than the one at the top. Each matted print is signed by me. The prints are sealed in acid free “crystal clear” plastic bags. I am willing to provide custom color mats or double mats for an additional cost, please contact me at ajitATajitphotoDOTcom for more information.

FRAMING AND HANGING Most of the mat sizes are standard frame sizes i.e. 11x14, 16x20 and 30x40, therefore most people buy their own frames to fit their decor. However for those who prefer I can provide museum quality black metal frames by Nielsen or black wood frames, both with acrylic glazing. Acrylic glazing is lighter and safer than glass. For hanging I prefer to use the Track Master system. It is easy to use, keeps the frame horizontal and resists knocking the frames off the wall during moderate earthquakes; visit hangframes.com.
